Tory Lanez Launches The ‘Tory Lanez Dream City Fund’ To Help Benefit COVID-19 Relief Efforts

We all know that Tory Lanez has been one of the many celebrities that have been keeping us entertained throughout this whole quarantine. However, he realizes it’s not all fun and games when it comes to this pandemic, but there are also families out there that are truly in need of help during this time.

He recently announced the “Tory Lanez Dream City Fund,” which is in collaboration between The Dream City Project, which he launched back in 2012, and also the Dream Center, which is a charity based in Los Angeles.

Through the fund, money will be raised to help provide meals and diapers for those who are in need in the Los Angeles area, as well as other communities. Tory announced that he teamed up with Amazon music to cover the cost of 100,000 diapers.

In a recent interview with CNN, Tory talked about the importance of using his platform to give back to the community. He said, “It’s very important for any artist to give back because at some point you were regular, too. At some point, you were a regular person just like everyone else. I always tell artists people feel exactly how you (felt) when you were in that place.”

As you all know, Tory Lanez has been making headlines with his show “Quarantine Radio,” which he started through his Instagram Live. As we previously reported, things started to get too lit on his Instagram Live, so Instagram had to put a temporary hold on his account, which also put a temporary stop to the show as well.

Nonetheless, he was eventually able to proceed with his “Quarantine Radio,” allowing him to continue to connect and entertain his fans.
