A Jane Doe has re-filed a $25 million lawsuit against Trey Songz for rape allegations, according to court documents obtained by Rolling Stone.
The suit stems from a 2016 sexual battery case where Jane Doe claims that she was sodomized by Trey at a party, and also names Atlantic Records, Trey’s manager, Kevin Liles and 300 Entertainment as defendants.
But the rapper has since denied the accusations, posting Friday that “lies will never be the truth.”
“Lies will never be the truth, no matter who chooses to believe such,” Songz posted in response to the lawsuit. “Alhamdulillah”

They claim that the parties effectively turned a blind eye to the multiple accusations against the singer and should be held responsible for his actions.
Her allegations fall in line with claims that she previously made in a $20 million lawsuit that was originally filed last February.
That lawsuit was dismissed last November after Songz’s team argued that her claim was past the statute of limitations.
Doe did admit in both lawsuits that she had previously had a consensual sexual relationship with Songz, and even expected to consensually sleep with him during that house party in question back in March 2016.
She claims Songz instead threw her to the floor before anally raping her against her cries and screams as she begged him to stop.
Doe added that a concerned rideshare driver noticed her clearly in distress, and took her to a local hospital, where she received medical treatment and sexual-assault counseling.

The alleged victim also went on to say that Songz later harassed her at a New Year’s Eve party, calling her a “liar” and a “slut” while having security remove her from the festivities.
She says she was so scared of Songz that she moved to another state to avoid him, however was still reportedly harassed by another unnamed musician who told her to “keep [Songz’s] name out her fucking mouth or he’d kill her,” according to the lawsuit.
Doe’s latest lawsuit also names Songz’ label, Atlantic Records, along with his manager, Kevin Liles. Liles’s label, 300 Entertainment” was also listed as a defendant in the case, claiming that the music executives are at least partly responsible for the singer’s alleged behavior.
Doe’s attorney, George Vrabeck, called the lawsuit “much more than (just) one singer and one viciously abused sexual assault survivor,” and pointed to multiple other allegations of sexual assault, sexual intimidation, and physical violence that have been levied against Songz in recent years.

“This case is much more than about one singer and one viciously abused sexual assault survivor who has the courage to take action,” Doe’s attorney said in a statement to Rolling Stone.
Vrabeck said the case is “very much about the systemic sexual abuse in the music industry,” and the industries “complicity in silencing” victims.
“It’s also very much about the systematic sexual abuse in the music industry and the music industry’s complicity in silencing sexual abuse survivors. It’s virtually impossible to believe that those executives are not and were not aware of the institutionalized sexual abuse.”
Meanwhile, Songz and company have not yet respond to the lawsuit as of Friday.
