Trick Daddy found himself getting locked up early Saturday morning after police responded to a call about a driver in a dark Range Rover hitting signs and running red lights. When the officer approached the vehicle, he said that the driver “appeared to be asleep behind the wheel.”
According to the Miami Herald, once Trick Daddy was awakened, he reportedly told the officer that he had about five drinks earlier when he was at the club and that he was dropping someone home and then heading home himself.
The police report states that he had “slurred speech, bloodshot, watery, glassy eyes and that the officer smelled alcohol on his breath.” He agreed to a field sobriety test but was not able to pass it.
He was taken to the Hammocks District Station, and while putting his belongings in his possessions in a plastic bag, police found cocaine inside a dollar bill. His bond was set at $5,000 on the cocaine possession charge and $1,000 on the driving under the influence charge.
Trick Daddy who appears on VH1’s hit reality show “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” has been pretty open up his life and his past mistakes, including his previous arrests throughout the years. Nonetheless, he had been using the show as a stepping stone for all of the great things he has going on.
Including his Miami Gardens soul food restaurant, the new music he has been working on, and recently he and Trina announced their new radio show on 99 Jamz to start off the new year.
