Tristan Thompson Shares Message About Strength And Facing Your Demons

Fans don’t see much of Tristan Thompson on social media. Unlike some celebrities who post a host of content from selfies to Tik Tok challenges, Tristan doesn’t overwhelm his timeline or Instagram Story with posts. However, on Friday, he was moved enough by a meme that he shared it to his account.

“Sometimes you don’t realize your own strength until you face your greatest weakness,” the quote post said. “Hide from your demons and they’ll slowly destroy your potential.”

Tristan didn’t add any additional words or emojis to the post. However, it continued with commentary about facing your own obstacles.

“Face them and they can potentially become your greatest asset,” the post said.

Daddy Of Three

This is one of the few times we’ve heard from the NBA player following confirmations that he’s a father once again. As previously reported, just days into the new year, Tristan reigniated an already burning fire. After months of back and forth with Maralee Nichols about the paternity of her child, Tristan (and the world) got answers. A paternity test established that he is indeed a father of three.

“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions,” Tristan wrote on his Instagram Story on January 3. “Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”

Tristan offered his apologies to anyone who he “hurt or disappointed” throughout the ordeal– which involved court filings at certain points. He also apologized directly to his ex-girlfriend and mother to his second child True Thompson.

“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years,” Tristan wrote on his Instagram Story. “My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so sorry.”
