Debra L. Lee is currently in charge of the gworlz!  Formerly chairman and CEO of Black Entertainment Television (BET), she has been appointed to the board of directors at the Procter & Gamble Company (P&G), a multinational consumer goods company that manufactures brands like Always, Bounty, Charmin, Crest, Dawn, Febreze, Gillette, Tide, and Vicks, according to Black Enterprise.

“We are delighted to welcome Debra to the board,” P&G Chairman, President, and CEO David Taylor said in a statement.

Debra Lee made sure that women empowerment was represented at the network. With events like ‘Black Girls Rock!’ and creating ‘Leading Women Defined Inc’, it is obvious that representation and giving back to the community was a clear focus for her.
