TSR Clear The Air: GoldLink Clarifies His Post About Mac Miller

Earlier this week GoldLink faced some backlash after he made a lengthy post about Mac Miller on his Instagram account. In the post he talked about when they toured together on the GO:OD AM Tour, and he talked about how Macs The Divine Feminine, project released after his And After That, We Didnt Talk, project.

Many people thought that his post was uncalled for and disrespectful towards the late Mac Miller. Anderson. Paak, who was also named in the post even called GoldLink out for making the post.

During one of his recent performances, GoldLink clarified his post and said that Mac Miller is one of his best friends. He said, I never used the word steal Thats one of the realest ni**as I ever met so I dont give a f**k what nobody say about it.

As we previously reported, in his post he said, “I released it under the Soulection label and the single for my album was called Unique ft. Anderson Paak, and that was your favorite song at the time. You loved it so much that you made the entire tour party listen to it, and surprised me with a cake after my set. I always thought you drove yourself insane about your own music. So much that, you would adopt styles as homage to those around you that you loved. Thats where our problem started. Divine Feminine was an actual blueprint of and after that, we didnt talk.

Anderson. Paak wasn’t here for GoldLink’s post and called him out in a post, that he eventually deleted. In the post, he said, “Maybe your belt was wrapped around your Gotdamn waist too tight or maybe it was the choker cutting off the circulation off to the brain but since you felt it necessary to bring me up twice and my boy aint here to respond ima say it like this. You aint the first to make an album inspired by a relationship, you aint the first to make a song featuring Anderson .Paak but you are the first to disrespect my friend who is no longer here for absolutely no reason and I cant stand for that.

Roommates, what are your thoughts?
