Roommates, Jay-Z and Meek Mill have been heavily involved in a justice campaign for some time now. We’ve seen both artists use their influence to shed light on social justice issues and criminal justice reform.
As we previously reported, Jigga and Meek joined forces with Van Jones and Robert Kraft to create the REFORM Alliance. The organization is dedicated to reforming the criminal justice system.
It looks like the two are now taking steps to further that vision. They met with the board of their organization to discuss reformation of criminal justice policy, employment rates and crime rates. We hope to see more moves being made, and can’t wait to see the impact they have on the cause!
