Our roommates are always so spot on ! Remember a few days ago when one of our roommates reported that Chris Brown’s inmate card was stolen and being auctioned off to the highest bidder? Well according to TMZ, Chris Brown’s card was indeed stolen!
We reported exclusively that the card’s bid was as high as $10,000 which we thought was being illegally auctioned off at the hands of an employee of the San Bernardino County Correctional facility. This was of course our exclusive but they ran with it. According to TMZ, Chris Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, caught wind of the auction and has launched a police investigation into how the ID had left the premises in the first place. The Sheriff’s department was able to find the person who stole the ID which the perp says he got it from another friend who got it through someone else.
No official word has been said on how the ID was taken out of police presence and if charges should be actually filed or not.
Chris Brown had stopped by San Bernardino Jail while traveling to D.C. for his hearing on assault charges when he allegedly fought with a man outside a Washington, D.C. hotel room back in October 2013. His visit required an inmate ID, and it is alleged that the theft took place around this time because Chris Brown was not allowed to leave the premises with the ID.
It’s good to see that Chris Brown is on the other side of the law for once! But we are glad they were able to catch the thief, it’s crazy how people will do absolutely anything for money! But just know you heard the story here first!
