Well the nominees for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards are in and while the biggest surprise is Drake’s nomination for his song “Back 2 Back” for Best Rap Performance (making it the first diss track to ever be nominated…but then again he’s Drake) some artists are a bit pissed about now being selected also!
Omarion was the first to kick off the shade campaign against The Grammy’ on Twitter as he was surprised that his collaboration with Jhene Aiko and Chris Brown on “Post To be” did not earn him a nomination.
He retweeted, “Definitely thought @1Omarion’s #PostToBe would’ve been in that Best R&B performance #Grammy category” in which he then tweeted, “‘Post to be'” is one of the greatest R&B collaborations ever. CB, Jhene, & myself been in the game 10+.”

Wale was another artist who seemed to feel a way about not being nominated but he let his retweets do the talking. He retweeted, “How is @Wale not nominated?” He responded by saying, “Cuz Wale sucks. And isn’t associated with the n** who run music.” OUCH!

Anyways, Lupe Fiasco’s reaction to not being nominated may be the funniest but saddest yet, he blessed Twitter with a timeline full of “L’s” …literally!! He tweeted, “The only award I ever really cared about was the Grammy…everything I put was nominated. Until today. End of An Era. Lemme hold that—->L.”
We tried not to laugh at his pain but the memes he tweeted made that pretty hard to do!
Aww poor Lupe! Well one thing’s for sure one artist who has been having one hell of a year aside from Drake is industry newbie Fetty Wap! He was nonimated on his first go around for “Trap Queen!” Congratulations to all nominees and for those who didn’t make it this time around…better luck next year! Lets chat below!
