After being in the headlines this week for filing a restraining order against Tamar Braxton, indicating domestic violence, David Adefeso went live on Instagram to offer more insight on what’s going on between the couple.
On Wednesday, Adefeso detailed the alleged altercation in which he was assaulted. Speaking about how he was raised not to hit a woman, Adefeso also adamantly denied getting physical with Tamar.
“I’m gonna say one thing about what was told about me grabbing or hitting Tamar or anybody else. It’s a complete and absolute falsehood. I’ve never ever, ever… I never will ever put my hands on a woman,” Adefeso stated.
He continued and stated that he was a victim of domestic violence.
“I’ll speak the truth. Here’s the truth. I’ve been a victim of domestic violence, domestic assault. I was attacked; I was driving on high speed, and I was attacked. A blow to my neck, my jugular.
Insinuating that Tamar hit him, Adefeso explained that the songstress was in the car. Adefeso also stated that he called his mama, after the incident and she started praying. Adefeso also stated he realized that he was being secretly recorded.
“Only to find out that after the blow I was being secretly record–something that’s illegal,” Adefeso stated.
After saying his Rolls Royce received $30,000 worth of damage, he stated that he can’t “continue to speak about this because the cops are involved.”
Ending his live, he requested that everyone keeps the couple in their prayers.
As previously reported, David reportedly became irate and allegedly told Tamar they were going to “end up in a ‘murder-suicide.’” The source said the argument then turned violent when David allegedly “grabbed her hard” on the arms, causing bruising. During the fight, Tamar claims she only grabbed onto him after he got physical with her.
Sources close to Braxton tell the Blast, “Any claims that Ms. Braxton was the aggressor and/or abusive are completely false and have no merit. David Adefeso has been upset and abusive since seeing his own true colors on Tamar’s upcoming television show and has been taking it out on Tamar ever since.”
As you may recall, Adefeso filed a restraining order agaInst Tamar earlier today at a Los Angeles court and his yet to be approved. All this drama is comes nearly two months after Tamar was hospitalized for an alleged suicide attempt.
It’s unclear if that’s where their troubles began but David was the person to find Tamar after what appeared to be an attempted overdose and called 911 for help.
