Roommates, we are happy to report that Kevin Hart is now on the road to recovery, after undergoing emergency back surgery last night.
According to TMZ, Kevin was rushed to the hospital to go under the knife last night, less than 24 hours after he injured his back in. a horrific car accident. Sources close to Kevin say the doctors completed successful back surgery Sunday evening. He is reportedly expected to remain in the hospital for at least a couple of days to recover.
TMZ also caught up with Kevin’s wife, Eniko, who says Kevin is “going to be just fine”. She also says Kevin is awake and recovering.
As we previously reported, Kevin was involved in an accident Sunday morning on Los Angeles’ Mulholland Highway, which is a notoriously dangerous roadway in the city.
Authorities reported the vehicle went off the road, and into a ditch. When police arrived on he scene, the vehicle was crushed and two other people were reportedly injured.
Jared Black, the man who was driving Kevin’s vintage Plymouth Barracuda at the time of the accident was pinned in the vehicle. He was reportedly airlifted to UCLA Medical Center, and is currently recovering.
Despite undergoing surgery, it is very possible that Kevin Hart will experience major back problems for a substantial amount of time. Doctors say he is expected to make a full recovery, and could be back on his feet in some days.
