TSR Updatez: Samantha Smith’s petition to become the legal guardian of #NipseyHussle’s daughter has reportedly been denied by a judge.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the judge denied Samantha’s request, stating that there wasn’t an urgency to grant her guardianship prior to the hearing for Nipsey’s killer on May 14th.
The judge also added that Emani’s mother needed tobe given notice of the hearing. Samantha reportedly did not want to inform Emani’s mother, Tanisha, of her filing.
As we previously reported, Samantha filed the request for guardianship to ensure that Emani can continue to have a close knit relationship with Nipsey’s side of the family. We hope that everything turns out well with Nipsey’s family.
