Roommates, it looks like Tyga may have gotten over his beef with #Birdman! He has reportedly dropped the $10 million lawsuit he filed over music royalties.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Tyga had voluntarily dismissed all clams against Cash Money and Young Money in the lawsuit, closing the entire case.
As we previously reported, Tyga filed the lawsuit accusing Birdman of refusing to pay him royalties for “Careless World” and “Hotel California” after he parted ways from the label back in 2016.
Cash Money previously denied all allegations of wrongdoing and demanded the lawsuit be tossed out. They also urged that Tyga be ordered to pay their legal bills.
Tyga and Birdman appeared to be working toward a settlement, but remarks from both sides made putting the suit to rest a challenge.
Birdman fired back after talks about a settlement claiming that Tyga was the one who owed Cash Money millions of dollars, claiming he was paid advances that he had not yet repaid.
It’s been a very eventful year for Tyga in the legal department. Following his filing against Birdman, Tyga had a warrant issued for his arrest after failing to appear in court in a 6-year-old injury case.
