Canada celebrated its 150th birthday recently and The Shade Room was in the Six to get a glimpse of some of the action downtown. Although it rained on and off, Nathan Phillips Square was packed with Canadians rocking their red and white.
I’ve been seeing these red tear away track pants everywhere so I finally gave in and copped a pair. Mine are from an LA boutique called Style Delivers and I bought my white bodysuit at Honey in the Toronto Eaton Center.
Next, I hit up the #WhitexWhite day party at Maison Terrace and these were a few of the looks that stood out at the event.
Upcoming actress and stylist Sheronna slayed in a white jacket from Lavish Alice and yellow over-the-knee boots from The Store On Queen.
I didn’t catch the guy’s name in the Christian Louboutin ‘Louis Orlato’ high top sneakers, but you can appreciate how he put his look together — not too plain and not too flashy. His Louis Vuitton Men’s shirt features a paint splash print motif inspired by the 80s New York Downtown art scene.
Overalls are still a thing and not everybody can pull them off like our Toronto roomie Philly did in this white pair by Gucci. His baby pink hat, bandana and matching Vans complemented his outfit perfectly.
