Now we all have our favorite brands of cereal and something about those brands makes the flavor so distinct that we keep going back for more. When it comes to the “Lucky Charms” cereal, you may find plenty of people who will say that the marshmallows are their favorite part. Now it looks like consumers will now be able to buy “Just Magical Marshmallows” for a limited time.
According to USA Today, recently General Mills announced that they will be selling 6-ounce packages filled with just the “Lucky Charms” marshmallows for $3.99. The company notes that this will be the first time that the Lucky Charms pouches will be available nationwide.
Jessica TeBrake, assistant manager of brand experience for Lucky Charms said, “Lucky Charms fans have been asking for this for years. They’ve had the opportunity to win Lucky Charms Marshmallow – Only boxes in the past but now have the ability to purchase the ‘Just Magical Marshmallows.’ We hope it brings a little bit of magic and joy to their day.”
The marshmallows will be available starting in September, however, it is not clear how long the marshmallows will be on shelves.
In the past, many brands have made major switches to their brands to please their consumers.
Back in May, IHOP announced they would be releasing a pancake cereal, and Twinkies released their cereal last year.
