Roommates, y’all know we’ve come across some food combinations that are untraditional — like these hand-dipped grapes. An LA-based company, DD’z Treatz is giving the chocolate-covered fruit game a run for its money. After his 22-year-old son suffered a sports-related injury, De Andre created DD’z Treatz so he can have an identity outside of football and ultimately, run his own business.
DD’z Treatz has a full menu of hand-dipped grape combinations, like candy apple, cookies and cream, and Butterfinger. They even went as far as offering vegan choices, in which the grape is dipped in dark chocolate and then coated in granola. The candy combination grapes are first dipped in white chocolate and then coated it in the candy crumble.
The brand is based in LA but guess what?! They also ship to customers nationally.
The sweet treat has garnered the attention of many celebrities like DJ Mustard, Dave East, Eli Penny, and Omar Benson Miller, just to name a few.
We have to say, this is an interesting way to enjoy grapes, but, whatever floats your boat!
