#Roommates, y’all know we love a good #BlackExcellence story and DJ Tillman has #BlackGirlMagic drippin’ all over her! Sis is 12 years old with a bachelor’s degree!!
According to News 10 ABC, this young superstar from the South Side of Chicago just walked across the stage at Excelsior College in Albany, New York. She already has an associate’s degree under her belt, and now she has a bachelors too!
“There are some great things coming out of the south side of Chicago and this, my baby, is one of the greatest of them all,” her mother Jemelita said.
“My child care provider Miss Mary first noticed, she said you got a special baby that you need to understand at this baby is been here before I had no idea with this baby you been here before Meant,” she added.
“I want to go into my masters in environmental engineering, but I do want to take a couple gap months,” DJ Tillman said, which is short for Dorothy Jean, but her Mom calls her Dorthy Genius. “School wasn’t as fun anymore. It wasn’t as fast-paced.”
Even though she’s incredibly gifted, DJ still says she has time to be a kid. “I still have friends and we go to the park and go to movies,” she shared.
