#TSRPositiveImages: #ChrisBrown is known to show his fans some love as well as his home state of Virginia.

When he goes on his #INDIGOAT tour this summer, along with #TyDollaSign, #ToryLanez, #JoynerLucas and #YellaBeezy, he’ll be stopping back home for a special show.

According to @virginianpilot, Breezy announced that he and the promoter of the tour, LiveNation, will join together to donate 50 cents from every Hampton ticket sold to the Virginia Beach Tragedy Fund that benefits the families affected by the recent mass shooting.

Chris is actually a native of Tappahannock, Virginia, and he reps his home state proudly, so it should come as no surprise to fans that he’d be giving back to the victims of the senseless tragedy.

On May 31st, a former city employee walked into a government building in Virginia Beach and shot multiple people. The mass shooting claimed the lives of 12 people and left a few others injured.

The shooter, identified as DeWayne Craddock, was killed in a gunfight with responding officers

“This is the most devastating day in the history of Virginia Beach,” said Mayor Bobby Dyer. “The people involved are our friends, coworkers, neighbors, colleagues.”

The shooting happened when citizens were still visiting the municipal center to conduct business. The building where the shooting took place houses the operations building for the city, which include multiple departments.

The shooting was the nation’s deadliest mass shooting since November.

Chris Brown performed in Virginia Beach at Pharrell’s “Something in the Water” festival just a few weeks before the shooting happened.

“We are praying for our city, the lives that were lost, their families and everyone affected,” tweeted Pharrell, who is a native of Virginia Beach. “We are resilient. We will not only get through this but we’ll come out of this stronger than before we always do.”
