#Roommates, join us in wishing Delphine Gibson from Pennsylvania a very happy 114th birthday! According to the state Aging Department, she’s the oldest known living person in the United States, and she attributes her long life to her faith in God!
She hit the milestone on Thursday and celebrated with a special visit from Governor Tom Wolf Gibson and her Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church family.
Mrs. Delphine was born in South Carolina in 1903. She moved to Pennsylvania after marrying her husband Taylor Gibson in 1928. They had three children together — Frank, Moody and Ella.
What a blessing to celebrate with three digits on your birthday cake!
