What would the world be without #BlackTwitter!? The community took a picture of Rihanna and Lupita–slaying, of course–and made up an entire film about the duo!
Fans got hype whenever Lupita said she would be down if Rihanna was. The next thing you know, the idea to get Ava DuVernay to direct and Issa Rae to write the script narguably won the vote for the projects production assistance–but then fans have just been waiting for the film gawds to make a miracle out of a tweet!
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that during the Cannes Film Festival, Netflix was victorious in an “aggressive bid” to on the task making the project happen!
Ava has reportedly been confirmed for the project while we hear Issa is still in the works.
