#TSRSports: Well this isnt much of a surprise, #Roommates. Once #CarmeloAnthony hits free agent status, he reportedly plans to sign with the #HoustonRockets.
It was announced last week that Melo will be traded to the #AtlantaHawks in a three-team trade where he would then be waived after the team buys out his contract.
It sounds like Melo had always intended to go back west as he will reportedly sign a one-year deal for $2.4 million to play for the Rockets, according to Yahoo Sports. But dont think thats chump change, #Roomies, because Melo will receive the entirety of his $27.9 million salary for 2018-19 in the buyout.
He must clear waivers before joining the Rockets, which probably wont happen until next week. Well keep yall posted on the latest.
