TSR Updatez: John Witherspoon’s Death Certificate Reveals That He Passed Away From Coronary Artery Disease

Many fans and loved ones are still mourning the shocking passing of John Witherspoon. It has now been revealed what caused his unfortunate passing.

According to TMZ, John had been dealing with a number of heart issues that eventually led to a fatal heart attack. In the documents obtained by the site, it revealed that he had been battling coronary artery disease. It also listed that he had hypertension, but that was not mentioned as a direct cause of his heart attack.

As it was previously reported, John, unfortunately, passed away at his California home at the age of 77 on October 29th. TMZ also obtained the dispatch audio for the day of his passing where the dispatcher called in for a rescue for a man that was under cardiac arrest. Shortly after the dispatcher canceled the rescue after he passed.

John’s son, J.D. Witherspoon opened up to his followers about his father’s passing the following day and said, “So…my Dad died today & honestly I’m not sure how to feel. I’m sad, but I’m also happy 4 all the great times we had together. We’d roast each other like homies more than Father & Son, and I really loved that about us. In all seriousness, I work as hard as I do thanks to seeing Him grind for literally 77 years of his life, and I’m damn proud to be his son. If I have even half the career & impact he has had on people I’ll be very happy. His legacy will live on through me, my family, his friends, and everyone else who was touched by him here on earth.”

We continue to send our condolences to John Witherspoon’s loved ones during this difficult time.
