The two brothers, who were tied to Jussie Smollett’s case for allegedly attacking him, are now suing his lawyers Mark Geragos and Tina Glandian for defamation. They are reportedly claiming that the attorney’s lied to the media to make it look like they were responsible for the alleged attack.
According to TMZ, the Osundairo brothers filed a case in a Chicago federal court and claimed that Jussie “used his clout as a wealthy actor to influence [the bothers] who were in a subordinate relationship to him and were aspiring to ‘make it.'”
The lawsuit also says that Tina Glandian went on Good Morning America and the Reasonable Doubt Podcast after the charges against Jussie were dropped and told lies.
The lies reportedly included that they wore white face during the alleged attack and the brothers were involved in an illegal Nigerian steroid trafficking ring. The lawsuit also reportedly claims that Tina Glandian falsely claimed one of the brothers “engaged in fornication with Mr. Smollett.”
As we previously reported, the city of Chicago announced earlier this month that they are suing Jussie Smollett after they asked him to pay a little more than $130,000 to recover the costs of investigating his alleged attack, which the city claims was staged.
