Roommates, earlier this week we announced our brand new collaboration with Facebook Watch for the cooking competition series “The Shady Brunch”—well, the first episode has just dropped ya’ll! In the premiere of the series that combines a healthy mix of food, fun and shade, we feature two chefs from opposite sides of the country and put their skills to the test.
To give you a taste of what to expect from “The Shady Brunch,” we kicked the first episode off with a bang by taking it back to college days. If you remember how creative you had to be in the kitchen back in college to make meals that last throughout the week and also taste good—then you’ll definitely enjoy this.
Two chefs, Chef Red Beard (from the east coast) and Chef Kev (from the west coast,) put their top-notch culinary skills on display and see what they can create to make a fire “back in college” themed meal in the ultimate brunch cook-off.
The winner will move to the semi-final competition to compete for the first-ever Shady Brunch Championship!
