Tyga and Avril Lavigne were hugging it out after dinner at NOBU on Sunday, but are they mixing more than sushi rolls?
The 33-year-old rapper and punk-pop princess, 38, were looking cozy at NOBU in Los Angeles over the weekend, where they shared a meal with a few others. According to TMZ sources close to both parties, Avril Lavigne and Tyga have been “hanging out together a lot lately.”
After dinner, paparazzi photos showed the two embracing in the parking lot. They then surprised onlookers by leaving together in the same car. While it’s unclear if their relationship is romantic, sources say they’ve been hanging out quite a bit lately.

Interestingly, Avril is reportedly engaged to musician Mod Sun, whom she began dating in 2021. The two got engaged in March of 2022 in Paris and attended a pre-Grammy party earlier this month.
Tyga & Avril Leave Dinner Alone
It’s unclear if Mod was present at the NOBU dinner, but these latest photos of Avril and Tyga show the pair leaving dinner in the same car after hugging.
As for Tyga, he’s seemingly a single man after ending things in 2021 with ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson. On October 12, 2021, the model accused her ex, Tyga, of assaulting her. She took to social media to share photos of herself after the alleged assault. She filed a police report, and Tyga was arrested for the incident.
Fast-forward to January 2022, it seemed like things were cool again between the two as Camaryn celebrated her 23rd birthday. She shared photos from her birthday celebration, where Tyga was present.
In January, an Avril Lavigne fan account pointed out that the pair started to follow each other on Instagram.
