Tyga Is Sued For Unpaid Rent And $32K Worth Of Damages By Former Landlord

Roommates when it comes to having a nice home, one thing we know is some of your favorite rappers will have them—and some of them will even upgrade those homes. Now there’s nothing wrong with doing that as long as you own your home or your landlord doesn’t mind any upgrades. Tyga is allegedly under fire again with his landlord for not paying rent and leaving the home severely damaged.

Tyga’s former landlord is suing him for over $32K in unpaid rent and damages from April 2020. The landlord claims Tyga left thousands of dollars worth of damage, including gouges in the kitchen’s white oak flooring, marble flooring, counters, and damaged walls with murals and wallpaper, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

Tyga didn’t just stop there. The landlord also claims that there was a basketball hoop installed without his permission. The hoop resulted in leaving the driveway damaged. Also, new locks were apparently installed without permission, which destroyed the entry door.

The landlord attempted to handle the issues through mediation back in May but claims Tyga refused to act accordingly. He’s now suing Tyga for breach of contract and more than $200K in damages. This isn’t the first time that Tyga has been sued for damaging a home. If you recall, in 2018, Tyga was sued for allegedly failing to pay rent in a Beverly Hills home owned by Simon Cowell’s ex-fiance.

He skipped out on paying $40k for a few months. What made matters worse was Tyga put his son with Blac Chyna, King Cairo’s name, on the lease, which caused him to be included in the suit as well. No other information has been released about the lawsuit at this time.
