The NFL is investigating the allegations against Hill under the Personal Conduct Policy, according to NBC Sports. Vaccaro also claimed that Hill shoved and restrained her. In addition, he’s accused of ripping out her hair and forcing an unlit blunt into her mouth. Vaccaro also testified that she met Hill at the University of Miami during her sophomore year, per the Miami Herald.
Vaccaro Accused Police Of Covering Up Abuse
Then on Wednesday, during cross-examination, Vaccaro’s testimony revealed that she thinks the Miami-Dade Police Department covered up Hill’s abuse. She was asked on the stand if the police covered up the abuse after they responded to Hill’s condo, according to Law & Crime. Vaccaro claimed that the police covered up Hill’s alleged crime because they wanted to protect him. “Yes, they definitely wanted to cover it up,” she testified. “They were fans of him.”
Vaccaro Files For Divorce Following 911 Call During Domestic Dispute
The Shade Room previously reported that Vaccaro filed for divorce following a domestic violence incident at Hill’s home in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The dispute occurred in April 2025, and Vaccaro’s mom — who’d been staying with the couple — called 911.
Alesia Vaccaro said in a 15-minute call that Hill had shaken her daughter as she held the couple’s baby. Furthermore, she alleged that Hill snatched the baby and walked toward a 35th-floor balcony, which prompted the 911 call. She added her son-in-law had anger issues and was acting in an aggressive manner.
“I have the same rights as a father as her as a mother,” said Hill, per NBC 6 Miami. “And I can take my baby whenever I want.”
Vaccaro didn’t press charges and no arrests were made. The Miami Dolphins issued a statement after the news broke. Then, one day after the reported incident, she filed for divorce.
“On Monday, we were informed that the police were called to Tyreek Hill’s home, and after conversations with Tyreek and members of his family, the police departed the residence without further incident and the case was closed,” reads the statement. “We have since been in communication with Tyreek and the NFL and will have no further comment on the matter.”
