Although Tyrese has been busy promoting a new remix on social media, he had the time to send a couple of digs at Charlamagne Tha God, as he vocally expressed his disinterest in the R&B singer’s upcoming track.
Tyrese Felt ‘Disrespected’ While Charlamagne Says He Was Keepin’ It Real
The matter was initially brought up in an Instagram upload shared on Monday, as Tyrese proclaimed that—after sending Charlamagne the “I Don’t Think You Ever Loved Me” remix—he responded by declaring that “No One Cares.”
In turn, Tyrese addressed Charlamagne online by stating, “I see the ex darky still losing sleep over me cause I’m still my original complexion.”
Naturally, Charlamagne then discussed the upload on The Breakfast Club. and confirmed that he indeed told Tyrese that he didn’t care about the remix.
After DJ Envy inquired as to why Charlamagne was “so hard on him,” he shared that it comes down to Tyrese only reaching out when he needs something. Charlamagne also emphasized that the singer is only focused on himself and actually sent him the song “two or three times.”
“Tyrese is a person who only reaches out when he wants something…It’s always me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me. And he sent me that song like two or three times. Yo, we don’t care!”
The Singer Continues To Go In On Charlamagne: ‘We Gonna Talk About It’
The situation didn’t end there, as Tyrese swiftly clapped back after catching wind of Charlamagne’s on-air comments.
In an Instagram upload featuring a photo of Charlamagne, he started out by declaring that the radio personality has been “acting light-skinned lately.”
“I heard he was talking s**t about me on the radio this morning? Damn, I don’t know what I did to you bro I thought we was cool???? Damn I heard you’ve be acting light-skinned lately it’s cool…..”
We should also add that he admitted to adding a filter to the image of Charlamagne “so that he can look as dark as he used to be.”
After briefly bemoaning his record label situation, Tyrese proceeded to also share that he’s gonna make a trip to New York in order to “talk about” the matter. Additionally, he clarified that this is “not a threat.”
“As far as Charlemagne I’m coming in New York to see you and we gonna talk about it. That’s not a threat. That’s an elbow. That’ll be followed by a hug.”
