Earlier this week Tyrese took everyone by surprise when he announced that he tied the knot on Valentine’s Day.
The number one thing that everyone wanted to know was who is Tyrese’s bride, and how did the two meet?
According to TMZ, the new Mrs. Gibson is Samantha Lee from New Jersey, who attended the University of Georgia where she earned her Master’s degree in social work.
Sources revealed that she definitely makes use of her degree. She apparently has worked on serious issues such as, fighting sex crimes and human trafficking, along with counseling inmates.
She has also handled cases for the Division of Family and Children Services in Georgia, which allows her to make a pretty great income. Proving that she can carry her own, despite the belief of some.
When it comes to how Tyrese and Samantha met, it was through mutual friends after he penned an open letter to his future wife back in 2015.
For those who were also worried about her ethnicity, TMZ has learned that she is Ecuadorian, Jamaican and African American–not that it really mattered.
Congrats to Mr.& Mrs. Gibson!
