UPDATE: Memphis Police Identify Suspect Involved In Shooting That Killed Sayso P & Injured Sauce Walka (PHOTO)

Memphis police have identified one of the suspects believed to be involved in the recent shooting that killed rapper Sayso P and injured Sauce Walka. Additionally, Walka has shared a tribute to Sayso P. Furthermore, this arrives amid a woman believed to be the slain rapper’s mom speaking out.

Memphis Police Identify Suspect Involved In Shooting That Killed Sayso P & Injured Sauce Walka

According to TMZ, Memphis police released the photo of the suspect now wanted in connection to the fatal shooting. On X, formerly known as Twitter, Memphis PD wrote, “A warrant has been issued for the suspect involved in the deadly shooting outside the Westin Hotel. Crime Stoppers is offering a $6,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of 21-year-old Jayden Dandridge or the identification of any other suspects involved.”

Furthermore, the surveillance photo of Dandrige included in the tweet also listed his apparent offenses: “A warrant has been issued for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder (2x), and employment of a firearm during the commission of a felony (2x).”

Furthermore, anyone with information regarding the suspect and others believed to be involved in the shooting is urged by police to call 901-528-CASH. Per PEOPLE, surveillance footage of the shooting shows Dandridge alongside a masked man in dark-colored clothing.

The Rapper Recently Paid Tribute To Sayso P As Woman Believed To Be His Mom Speaks Out

Amid the update from Memphis police, Sauce Walka has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to Sayso P. Earlier this week, he shared a lengthy message alongside photos and videos of him and P.

“Words or tears cant explain the loss I feel! Splatt I wish your fat ahh listened to me and stayed in the room. I told u we could smoke that blunt after security and the rest of our familia pull up… Wish u just went DR wit shimmy and shot off and skipped this trip to Memphis but u was to excited i finally agreed to come to da M…” he wrote in part. “…I learned a lot from u young spilla and I thankful for all the loyalty and support city to city hood to hood wit them sticks RAP HUSTLING€ U left earth as a RICH YOUNG BOSS U left this earth happy an successful ima make sure the world knows that who u really are€ But unfortunately most our kings and bosses are at war with each other. I hope one day we all Ÿ›‘ STOP TAKING LIVES from our communities and actually start to enjoy and build better futures for our cultures. But the streets are the streets so „ accept what came with being your big brother. I love u Splatt…”

Furthermore, Sauce Walka also shared a post about staying in Memphis after the shooting out of wanting to visit locations recommended to him to Sayso P. Meanwhile, per HipHopDX, P’s mom took to Facebook, alleging that someone set her son up. Additionally, she stated that he was “too loyal to the wrong people.”

More Details On The Fatal Shooting & Sauce Walka Making Headlines Afterward

As The Shade Room previously reported, the fatal incident occurred on Saturday, March 22. Per PEOPLE, Sauce Walka and Sayso P were shot outside of the Westin Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee, around 2:42 p.m.

“Early indications are that the victims and suspects are known to each other,” police reportedly asserted to the press in the wake of the incident.

Furthermore, in the days that followed the shooting, Sauce Walka made headlines after footage of him appeared on social media.
