UPDATE: Pooh Shiesty, His Dad & Others Reportedly Arrested For Kidnapping & Robbing Gucci Mane At Gunpoint (VIDEO)

More details have been revealed after Pooh Shiesty and his dad, Lontrell Williams, were taken into custody following an FBI raid on their family home the pair is among multiple accused of kidnapping and robbing Gucci Mane at gunpoint.

On Thursday, April 2, NBC 5 DFW published a report asserting that the U.S. Attorney’s Office for North Texas had held a press conference. This, reportedly revealing that on January 10, 2026, “three music industry professionals” traveled to Dallas for a meeting to “discuss the terms of a recording contract with one of the victims.”

Pooh and eight other conspirators reportedly “executed a coordinated armed takeover.” Furthermore, the other individuals reportedly included his dad, Rodney Wright Jr., Kedarius Waters, Terrance Rodgers, Damarian Gipson, Demarcus Glover, Kordae Johnson, and Darrion McDaniel.

During the meeting, a victim was forced to “sign a contract at gunpoint,” reportedly a music label release form. Furthermore, the other conspirators reportedly robbed the two other victims of “Rolex watches, jewelry, and other valuables.”

NBC 5 DFW adds that one victim was even “choked to the point of near unconsciousness.” Additionally, one of the conspirators allegedly “barricaded the studio door to prevent the victims from escaping.” Lastly, officials asserted that Pooh’s dad helped to execute the kidnapping, and the group even posted the stolen goods on social media.

Per the outlet, the victims in the case have not been publicly identified by police. However, other news reports have identified Gucci Mane as one of the victims in the case.

To note, on Thursday, April 2, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas shared an official release including photos of Pooh’s co-conspirators allegedly flossing the stolen goods on social media. As The Shade Room previously reported, on Wednesday, April 1, the FBI reportedly executed a search warrant at Pooh Shiesty’s family home in Cordova, Tennessee. At the time, it was unclear what the target or cause of the search was. However, Pooh’s dad, Lontrell Williams Sr., was reportedly arrested that day in Memphis, Tennessee. Additionally, Pooh himself was arrested in Dallas, Texas.

As The Shade Room previously reported, in October of last year, Pooh was released from behind bars after serving three years for a federal firearms charge. According to The Independent, it was believed that Pooh was staying at a residential reentry facility in Dallas, Texas. The outlet adds that it was believed he would remain there until April 11.

Action News 5 reports that each conspirator could face a sentence of up to life in prison if convicted. The outlet adds that evidence connected to the incident includes Pooh Shiesty’s electronic monitoring of his location, cell phone records, license plate readers, a car rental record, surveillance footage, fingerprints, Greyhound records, and social media posts.
