Rapper Vic Mensa may possibly be headed to jail over a loaded gun case.
According to TMZ, the rapper is currently being targeted by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office for having a loaded, unregistered handgun in his car.
XXL reports that he was pulled over last month in Beverly Hills for running a stop sign and having his windows tinted. He admitted to having the gun in his possession when police pulled him over.
However, “his concealed firearms permit was not valid in the state of California,” and he was taken into custody.
He was charged with one felony count of carrying a concealed weapon and later released on $35,000 bail.
If convicted he could spend up to two years behind bars.
