TSR Breakups: Victor Cruz and Karrueche Tran are reportedly no longer an item. After three years together, the couple has reportedly decided to part ways and focus on their careers, a source close to the situation has confirmed to E! News.
Rumors had been circulating that the couple had split after their social media presence together was on the decline. Apparently, both Karrueche and Victor also removed photos of each other from their respective Instagram accounts.
“Right now, they are focused on continuing to grow their successful careers,” the insider told E! News.
The former couple had been baewatch goals for many after they went public back in December of 2017, when they stepped out hand-in-hand during an L.A. date night. After that, Victor and Karrueche were a mainstay on red carpets and at Hollywood events, including the MTV Video Music Awards and New York Fashion Week.
“There are no hard feelings. This is just a case of two people moving forward in life separately,” the source said.
Some fans speculate that distance, especially during the coronavirus pandemic, may have been a factor being that the former super bowl champ is on the East Coast, and Karrueche resides in the west as her acting career continues to bloom.
Victor also remained at his New Jersey home during the course of the pandemic to be with his 9-year-old daughter Kennedy. But Victor said in a previous Instagram live that he and Karrueche used the time apart to really get to know each other better by talking on the phone every day.
“Every day I’m like, ‘Well, tell me something you’ve probably never told me before,'” he said. “Now, we’re forced every day to have these conversations and some are deeper than others…I’m happy about this time in that regard.”
Despite the breakup, the two appear to be amicable and we’re here for the maturity!
