It’s no secret that Missy Elliot will be receiving this year’s “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award” and sis does not disappoint! That being said, it’s safe to say her performance is going to be a whole vibe!
Normani, who was just added to the VMA line-up, will also be hitting the stage! She just came out with the music video for her song “Motivation” which already has everyone ready for whatever she’s about to bring to the stage.
Lizzo killed her most recent award show performance at the BET Awards, so we can only imagine that she’s going to come just us hard this Sunday.
Other artists set to perform include Big Sean, ASAP Ferg, H.E.R. and Lil Nas X to name a few.
Lil Nas X is actually the breakout star this year as he leads the males with 8 nominations. As for the ladies, both Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande are tied with 10 nominations.
