The facility where Wendy Williams reportedly resides has filed a police report accusing her niece, Alex Finnie, of violating the law by taking her out to dinner.

Wendy Williams Reacts After Assisted Living Facility Files Police Report Against Her Niece
TMZ spotted Wendy Williams and her niece, Alex Finnie, arriving back at the Coterie after their dinner date. Alex explained the situation regarding the police, saying the facility accused her of taking Wendy without approval or confirmation. She also clarified that Wendy’s guardian established rules allowing her to “come and go as she pleases” and permitting family visits without restrictions. Both Williams and Finnie found it strange that police got involved when they simply wanted to spend time together. While speaking with TMZ, Wendy straight-up dismissed the allegations made about her niece, calling them “unbelievable.”
“Clearly they are lying to me when they say I can go out and do what I want to do. We are going out to celebrate [life] and this is what has been done to us,” Wendy added.

Wendy Williams’ dinner with her niece happened just a month after TMZ shared footage of her enjoying brunch with her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., in Miami, Florida. The mother-son outing went viral as Wendy previously accused Kevin of crossing boundaries during her appearance on the ‘2 Angry Men’ podcast back in February.
“He overstepped his boundaries, and he was inappropriately using my money without telling me crap about it. Like, is he stealing from me?… That’s when my money got frozen at Wells Fargo, thank God. No more money stealing from my son and the other people,” Wendy said.
