White Men’s College Tennis Player Suspended After Telling Black Player ”At Least I Know My Dad ” During Weekend Match

We live in a day in age where you gotta watch your mouth or suffer the consequences. Unfortunately, a college tennis player had to learn that the hard way after he came foul at his on-court rival, who was African American.

According to NY Daily News, the white player told the black player on the court “at least I know my dad” during their weekend match.”

The student from North Carolina A&T State University, a historically black college, tweeted what the student from Appalachian State University told him and it was a wrap after that.

Appalachian State released a statement Monday saying Spencer Brown, who’s white, was suspended indefinitely after Sunday’s game
against A&T. The school called his comments “derogatory and offensive.”

John Wilson, the black player, said the student made other offensive commented during Sunday’s NCAA Division I match.
