Whew! Roomies, it seems like Donald Trump finally met his match. The politician had plenty to say about ‘The View’ at his (Oct. 9) rallies in Pennsylvania and co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin wasted no time clapping back at him.

Whoopi Goldberg & Trump Go Head-To-Head
Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin kicked off the live episode of ‘The View’ on (Oct. 10) by calling out Donnie for his shots at them during his rallies. PEOPLE indicates that Trump’s comments seem to have followed Vice President Kamala Harris’s appearance on ‘The View’ on (Oct. 8). Instead of going after VP Harris, Donnie decided to throw shade at the co-hosts, calling them “really dumb people.”
Trump mentioned Whoopi Goldberg during his speech, recalling how he once hired her as a comedian. He then told the crowd at his rally that she rubbed him the wrong way with her “filthy” language.

Whoopi seemed to back up Donnie’s claim about having a foul mouth during the live morning talk show.
“As it turns out, I was filthy. I was filthy, and stand on that fact,” Goldberg said. “I have always been filthy. And you knew that when you hired me to be a [headliner], babe, at your casino — which I might have continued to play had you not run it into the ground!”
Even though Whoopi agreed with Trump, she still clapped back at him, saying she could never be as dirty as he is.
“You know how dirty I wasn’t? I never grabbed anybody by their genitalia,” Goldberg stated.
Whoopi’s statement reportedly referenced Trump’s lewd comments from unaired audio of a 2005 Access Hollywood interview that resurfaced during the 2016 presidential election.
“Many people use the F-bomb. He’s used the F-bomb… But there’s a difference between people who assault other people and people who say words that you don’t want little kids saying in the middle of church,” Whoopi continued.
Sunny Hostin Shades Trump For Legal Issues
Hostin also jumped in to roast Donald Trump during a segment on ‘The View.’ The co-host fired shots at him by calling out his legal issues, like his 34 felony counts for falsifying business records that he got hit with back in May.
“I admit I may not have spent as much time in a courtroom as you have. I was also recognized with a special achievement award by the Department of Justice. You remember the Department of Justice, right? It’s the agency that’s been pursuing you for decades. And like Madame VP Kamala Harris, I’ve had a history of prosecuting sex offenders, so thank you for keeping people like us in business,” Hostin said.
Sunny wrapped up her speech by inviting Donnie to come on ‘The View,’ an offer that PEOPLE reveals he has reportedly turned down multiple times.
“As for dumb questions, you’re always welcome to come here and answer some, if sitting so close to a prosecutor won’t make you feverous. I’ll even give you a View mug, not to be confused though with a mugshot, because that’s your area,” Hostin stated.

Trump Attacks VP Kamala Harris
Trump’s series of jabs follows his recent shots at VP Kamala Harris during a September rally in Wisconsin, along with digs at President Joe Biden’s mental state.
“Joe Biden became mentally impaired. Kamala was born that way. She was born that way,” Donnie said.
At the time, Donnie’s statements reportedly focused on immigration. He criticized the Biden-Harris administration for permitting illegal immigration and tied the issue to rising crime, sharing graphic stories to emphasize his point.
“And if you think about it, only a mentally disabled person could’ve allowed this to happen to our country. Anybody would know this,” Trump continued.
