Whew! Woman Sparks Debate After Saying Her Son Will Lose His Inheritance If He Does THIS

A woman recently riled up social media users after revealing the conditions her son must follow to receive his inheritance. The post is no longer available on @SamIAm’s X (formerly Twitter) account, but she’s continued poppin’ off about her stance! Sp, naturally social media users are throwing their two cents in.

The Shade Room reposted the viral tweet on January 13, attracting over 3,500 reactions in the comment section. In the post, SamIAm (@ms_mom_365247) discussed valuing marriage in their family.

“Our son’s aware that if they have babies out of wedlock, they’ll lose their inheritance for them & will have to start from scratch,” @ms_mom_365247 wrote in the now-deleted post. “We were clear about this prior to having children. Most boys comfortable with doing this is because they have zero standards, expectations & INHERITANCE. You have to incentivize good behavior/decisions.”

Mind you, this isn’t the first time the user has aired her stance about society’s new energy of “babies before marriage.” She also spoke on the inheritance topic via X on December 22.

“More men understanding that having a child is a lifelong decision whether you marry or not is a positive thing. To be connected to that wmn for life & holding marriage to a higher standard is asinine. Making babies w/anyone but marriage reqs more thought & consideration has always been a questionable move.” @ms_mom_365247 wrote.

Then, there were her posts on January 7, 12 and 13– which can all be seen below.

Social Media Pops Off About Mother’s Inheritance Requirement

And it’s not just the regular-degular folks starting families before joining last names. Celebrities are also buying into the concept. Think Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, Halle Bailey and DDG, Khlo Kardashian and Tristan Thompson, and Keke Palmer and Darius Daulton. Most recently, Devin Haney’s social media influencer boo, Leena Sayed, revealed the birth of their first and only child together. Like the others mentioned, there was no engagement or wedding announcement attached.
