#Roommates, there are truly some amazing people out here, and Shirley Raines is definitely one of them. She gives back to the homeless in a way thatll truly touch your heart.
She showers the homeless with camping showers, washes and colors their hair, provides makeup, and feeds them. A lot of these individuals are in a rough period in their life and she just wants to help make things a little easier for them.
Shirley said a lot of the women were interested in her hair and makeup and thats what prompted her to start helping them look their best and feel confident.
I started feeding the homeless, but more of the women were interested in my hair and makeup and that’s when I realized even homeless women want to feel beautiful. I gave them my hair color, my makeup until friends saw what I was doing and helped me.
Shirley says shes out doing her part every Saturday.
