Do you recall when Creflo Dollar generated controversy when he revealed he wanted to buy a $65 million private jet in order to “safely and swiftly share the Good News of the Gospel worldwide?” The preacher had the nerve to ask each of his church members to donate $300 each in order for him to reach that goal in a fair amount of time. Well, chile, according to the Huffington Post, as crazy as it might sound, it looks like Creflo’s wish has been granted!
Back in March, Creflo had explained that his current jet is over 30 years old and is damaged. The preacher and his ministry received backlash from people all over the world, citing him as a selfish man and that there were so many more necessary things to spend $65 million on. Anyway, World Changers confirmed that they will go ahead and purchase the plane “at a time, place and price of our choosing.” Oop!
World Changers Church International gave a long statement where they low-key gave a godly read to their haters.
“We wholeheartedly reject the notion that the ministry’s airplane project is an imposition on our community or that it somehow takes advantage of our people,” and that “We plan to acquire a Gulfstream G650 because it is the best, and it is a reflection of the level of excellence at which this organization chooses to operate.”
