Ashanti is trying to make a comeback by possibly joining YMCMB team.
We don’t know if this is a good idea after Wayne, Lil Twist, Tyga, and Styles have publicly made negative remarks about the label.
Ashanti sat down for an interview with our friends at Vladtv were she confirmed the rumors of her being in the talks with Baby and Lil Wayne.
“There was a lot of conversations, I spoke to Baby a lot and we were working on some stuff. I spoke to Wayne a lot; I’m speaking to Wayne now actually. I think that it’s really important to be very careful with your business, especially nowadays. Timing plays a lot into making moves and strategically just aligning everything, but yeah we had a lot of conversations.”
Even though nothing has been set in stone, Ashanti seems very excited about the future possibilities. I don’t know about you guys but I’m a little no, a lot concerned for her joining with the team with all this wild press on Baby lately.
Let’s just hope she knows how to budget well since it might be a while before she sees a check dealing with this guy. But then again it might be the turn around Baby needs so that he can actually start getting people back their money! We are going to pray for the best, Ashanti.
