Roommates, Yaya Mayweather recently gave birth to her first child with ex-boyfriend NBA Youngboy—and she’s been keeping fans updated on who’s been visiting her new bundle of joy, including her father. In a few posts to her Instagram stories, Yaya showed that her father Floyd Mayweather is continuing to bond with his brand new grandson.
Despite the current drama going on with Yaya Mayweather and her ex-boyfriend NBA Youngboy, the two are now the parents of a baby boy that she named after him, Kentrell Gaulden Jr. Although, this Youngboy’s new son (and seventh child overall,) Yaya’s father is stepping up to the plate.
She’s been posting her new son on social media, specifically that Floyd Mayweather has been coming to visit. In a collection of photos to her IG stories, Yaya posted the photos with captions that read:
“Papa came to support him at first photoshoot. Watching football with Papa.”

As we previously reported, Yaya had fans on high alert when she posted a cryptic message on social media following the birth of her son, leading many to grow concerned.
Since her pregnancy was surrounded with NBA YoungBoy flaunting his latest girlfriend Jazlyn, many of her fans grew immediately concerned with her recent Instagram post. Set to music with a photo of herself, the lyrics suggest that she may be struggling a bit these days.
“It’s alright to cry sometimes, it’s gon’ be okay. We all gotta leave someday and that’s the scariest thing,” the lyrics said.
