YOUNG COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYER KILLS GIRLFRIEND AFTER FINDING OUT SHE WAS ACTUALLY A MAN!!!

A 21-year-old Texas College football player has been charged with murdering who he thought was his girlfriend but later found she was actually a man. Something tells me that this new episode of Catfish will not be airing on MTV.

Officials say that they responded to a call on Jan. 26, about a vehicular accident in the 400 block of W. 24th Street in Tyler, Texas. When the police got to the scene they had found 24-year-old Tyrone Lee Underwood in the driver seat shot to death before running into a telephone pole.

Carlton Ray Champion Jr., was Tyrone’s alleged boyfriend. He was arrested a few days later on separate charges of probation violation and was held without bond in Gregg County Jail. That’s when jail officials got word about Carlton having a warrant out for his arrest in the first degree murder case which then placed him on a $1 million bail.

According to CBS 19, evidence obtained showed that Champion and Underwood were in a brief relationship and communicated through “Kik” ( a social media messenger). Prior to the murder, messages revealed that Tyrone was upset with Carlton for standing her up a day before. He told Carlton that he was done with seeing him but Carlton did not take that lightly responding by saying,”Na f*** this I ain’t done I’m on my way up there, where you gone be at?!?!?”

Officials say that the motive may not have been because of Tyrone’s sexual orientation because they say it is evident in their conversations that they have had sexual relations before even though Carlton’s father says the opposite. Blood was also found on the suspect’s jacket but officials don’t know if that will be enough to close this case.

“We will follow any leads that come in, we will follow them completely because this was a senseless murder,” Detective Andy Erbaugh said. “There were several indicators that there may be bullets fired at the vehicle but we just pulled the vehicles here at the police department and it will be searched pursuant to a search warrant.”

Friends and family close to Tyrone, who was also going by Ty or Tyra, was a nursing assistant who recently was accepted into Kilgore College’s nursing program in Longview. Tyler-Smith County Crime Stoppers is offering a one thousand dollar reward for a tip that leads to closing this case.

Moral of the story is beware of who meet on social media, we pray for the family of Tyrone through this trying time.
