The thirst for new YSL music seems like it will finally be quenched. As The Shade Room previously reported, Gunna most recently released his first single and music video following his acceptance of an Alford plea in the YSL RICO trial.
On Friday, the rapper released a full-length, 15-track album. Meanwhile, Young Thug — who is still behind bars during the ongoing case — has unveiled a cryptic countdown for his fans.

Young Thug Shares Cryptic Countdown Following Gunna’s Album Release
In the early hours of Friday morning, Young Thug’s official Instagram account shared a new post. Additionally, the rest of his Instagram profile has been wiped clean.
The post consists of a QR code on top of a blank, white background. The caption is brief.
“BUSINESS IS BUSINESS”
When viewers scan the QR code, they are greeted with a countdown set to be completed in less than five days.
Additionally, producer Metro Boomin has also shared the same countdown with an identical caption.

Social media users reacted to the cryptic post in The Shade Room’s comment section. Some speculated that the countdown would be new music from Young Thug.
Instagram user @doinm3 wrote.
“This is all previously recorded music why people keep saying can’t wait to see what he say about gunna don’t be shocked if gunna is featured on the album”
Meanwhile, others believe that it will unveil a diss track from the rapper toward Gunna.

Gunna Releases First Full-Length Project Since Accepting YSL Plea Deal In December
Before this cryptic post from Young Thug, Gunna’s project was released to the public, the album is titled ‘a Gift & a Curse.’ Additionally, it follows the rapper’s 30th birthday, which occurred on Wednesday, as reported by Complex.
Additionally, the album consists of no features and plays for 45 minutes.
As the project unfolds, the rapper remains consistent in defending his name against snitching accusations. According to Hip Hop By The Numbers, the “Drip Too Hard” rapper addresses the allegations 33 times, with 43.3 % of his lyrics “assaulting everyone who doubted him.”
