Deb Antney, former music manager of Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj, recently appeared on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast. And revealed new information regarding the two rapper’s relationship.

Antney, who is also the mother of rapper Waka Flocka Flame, recalled a time when she added a Minaj feature on one of Gucci’s songs.
He had a fit when I had her getting on a record. But I wanted all of them to work together because we’re a family, so we all have to be together. It can’t be any of this.
The Former Music Manager Says Gucci Mane Is “Selfish”
Antney went on to call the “Lemonade” rapper “selfish.”
He’s very selfish. He’s very much to himself. I don’t even understand how he gets to sign artists. I never let artists sign to other artists… because they not gonna let them become bigger than them.
Antney’s Story Contradicts A Prior Claim Made By Gucci
According to HipHopDX, Gucci Mane claimed to have slept with the Queens-bred rapper in a derogatory 2013 tweet.

According to the outlet, Gucci Mane and Minaj squashed their beef in 2017. The two appeared on a song together called “Make Love.”
Antney and Gucci Mane’s relationship, however, has remained estranged. The outlet reports that Gucci Mane accused Antney of stealing a song from him, in his 2017 biography. And giving it to OJ Da Juiceman.
