Here’s What Draya Michele Shared
On Wednesday, March 27, Michele took to her Instagram Story to share a few videos with fans. In the first clip, the 39-year-old explained that she’s been dealing with melasma during her latest pregnancy. To note, melasma is a “common skin problem caused by brown to gray-brown patches on the face,” per the National Library of Medicine.
Additionally, the outlet notes that melasma is more common in women than men and occurs most frequently during pregnancy.
Michele explained that dark patches are growing around her lip area, so she’s been “laying low… waiting for this to go away.”
In the second clip, Michele explained that she also learned she’s vitamin D deficient. However, she noted that there’s been a lot of things she “needed to go through” during this pregnancy. So, she didn’t want to add more supplements to her health regimen.
However, she learned that her vitamin D deficiency could be the cause of her melasma.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Michele revealed she was pregnant with a baby girl on March 8, which was International Women’s Day. In response, NBA player Kyle Kuzma seemingly confirmed the 39-year-old was expecting her child with 22-year-old NBA baller Jalen Green.
About a week later, Michele returned to Instagram to share an update about how she was feeling since going public with her life update, per The Shade Room.
“I feel like I am at the bottom of a pile of heavy humans. Most hours of the day I feel like I am struggling to breathe,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Earlier this week, the expecting mother appeared to be in better spirits. Most recently, Michele popped out to a Houston Rockets game to seemingly support Green and give fans a look at her growing bump.
