More than a year after separation and cheating rumors, Remy Ma and Papoose‘s personal business has spilled onto the internet streets. Early Thursday (December 12), the formally nicknamed “Golden Couple” accused each other of cheating throughout their relationship or marriage. Rem also threw boxer Claressa Shields into the mix, revealing her as Papoose’s girlfriend. Shields, who is in the midst of a HUGE Hollywood moment, shared her own spicy words for the estranged Mrs.
Remy Ma Kicks Off Cheating Accusations
Ma took to Instagram to blast her estranged husband. She first shared a text message thread of an alleged discussion between Papoose and Claressa. In it, they discussed effective communication. Shields allegedly wrote:
“You take accountability! You are the one who is married! If you can’t at least sleep on the phone with me or be with me in person…it shouldn’t be a big deal to let me know you made it home safe. Or communicate you fell asleep in the sprinter.”
Pap seemingly responded by running down his itinerary, to which Shields then allegedly said she didn’t care and that he could keep it. The real tea, though, was in Remy Ma’s caption. Calling Pap a “dum a*s,” she claimed he fell asleep on the phone with Claressa while lying in her house because he refused to leave. Then, the rapper came for the supposed girlfriend’s neck.
“This b***h supposed to be a world champion boxer and get scary *ss hang up soon as she heard my voice. Nowwww I’m telling everything ohhhh and babygirl u not the only one,” Remy wrote.
In a screenshot shared by The Shade Room, Claressa seemingly slid into the comment section to say, “This can’t be serious. You have 2 boyfriends.” Ma responded, “That’s what he told you, lol.” In a post on her Instagram Stories, Remy continued going in. This time, she came for Claressa Shields, too. She accused the champion boxer of planting “fake stories” about her daily to make her look bad, and Papoose look good.
“I begged @Papoose to put out something to stop the narrative and he kept telling me to just stay quiet that that’s the best thing to do…welp I’m tired oh and he said he would never f**k you r cuz you ugly but don’t worry I saw EVERYTHNG now the world gonna see it since u so tough boo.”

Mind you, Remy dropped these posts off EARRLYYYYY on the ‘gram — the sun wasn’t even up yet on the East Coast. Well, she must’ve also woke Pap out of his sleep. Who knows if it was after snooping in and screenshotting his text messages, but he definitely peeped the internet scene and got the sleep out of his eyes. He had PLENTY TO SAY.

While Claressa swerved Remy Ma’s accusations about planting stories in the media, she did reply on Instagram Stories. She clapped back with alleged tea about the married rapper and followed up with some spice. It was a post-and-delete, but The Shade Room caught the moment.
This whole caught-in-the-middle fiasco started just hours after a private premiere of ‘The Fire Inside,’ a movie based on Claressa Shields’ life that will be released on Christmas Day.

Remy Ma Says She's Never Cheated On Pap & Addresses Claressa
In another post, Remy Ma shared screenshots of several messages she sent to Papoose at 4 a.m. that went unanswered. She pleaded with him to “do something today about this girl.” She didn’t explicitly say what the “girl” had done but shared that the woman has a film dropping on Dec. 25. She asked Pap to “clear it up,” and said she doesn’t care about what the woman included in her story.

In the caption, Remy Ma offered more details and directly addressed “Ms. Shields.” She accused Papoose of trying to get her arrested and denied that she ever “f**ked off on him in 17 years.” Meanwhile, she claims, Papoose was “plotting with ONE OF his chicks to try to destroy [her].” She also said that she has pictures and messages from women he dealt with while she was locked up, and he supposedly was holding her down.

As for Claressa, Remy Ma clarified that she’s a “one boyfriend woman” the same way she was a “one husband woman” and a “good woman at that.”
“Hence why mfs won’t just go. Oh & he’s never gonna buy you anything cuz he thinks HE’S the prize. He’s a taker not a giver. Plus I’m the one with the bag lol. Along with the post, the rapper shared a screenshot of texts from Claressa to Papoose where she’s expressing unhappiness with their relationship and vowed not to complain about it anymore.
“I ask for gifts I’m tripping, I express I’d like flowers I’m tripping. I want time set aside dedicated to me I’m tripping, I don’t know how to feel….I’m just laying here feeling….stupid,” Claressa wrote.
In hashtags in the caption, Remy Ma asserted that the story of Pap knocking a man out for cheating with her is a lie. She also challenged Shields saying she’s not knocking anyone out either!

Papoose Shares Boo'ed Up Photo Of Remy Ma & Another Man, Clarifies Knock-Out Story
Papoose continued unloading the clip on their crumbling marriage. He took to Instagram with a photo of Remy hugging up with a man near a Christmas tree and shared that he’s who she spent the holiday with last year. Meanwhile, Pap said he was at home with their daughter. And his caption just kept spilling! Note that Remy Ma later shared home footage disputing the narrative that she didn’t spend Christmas with her daughter.

Additionally, on Instagram Stories, Papoose denied any plot to get Remy Ma arrested. He accused her of straight-up lying and said this information could be easily verified. He also said Ma is playing police games, lying about the history of their relationship, and falsifying text messages. He again accused her of being a narcissist.

A third X post accused Remy Ma of “lying” but didn’t specify about what. She also clapped back at Remy Ma’s shade. Shields accused her of falsifying text messages (as Papoose did) and then challenged her to a match on Feb. 2, 2025. “Come get yo a*s whooped crash out,” Claressa wrote.
