Heartbreaking Details Emerge From Cruise Ship Tragedy
Rumors had already been swirling about what happened aboard the Carnival Horizon cruise earlier this month. And now, sources close to the case have provided a clearer, yet potentially troubling, picture. Anna, an 18-year-old cheerleader from Titusville, Florida, was tragically found dead on November 7. According to a security source briefed on the situation, she was discovered under a bed, wrapped in a blanket, and covered with life vests. The Miami-Dade medical examiner has not yet ruled on a cause or manner of death, leaving an unsettling silence around the case.
Investigators Dig Deep To Trace Anna’s Final Hours
Investigators are now reportedly combing through every angle. That includes reviewing security footage, checking access-card logs for movement around the ship, and looking into whether any kind of altercation may have occurred between Anna and her stepbrother prior to her death. At the same time, authorities aren’t ruling out the possibility of a medical emergency or overdose. Additionally, the night before she died, Anna allegedly told her family that she was not feeling well and went back to her room. The goal now is to reconstruct the timeline leading up to those critical hours, and sources say the FBI is heavily involved.

New Court Documents Shift Attention To The Family
Things took an even more complicated turn when a separate family court document surfaced. In that filing, Anna’s stepmother, Shauntel Hudson, requested a delay in a custody hearing. She reportedly stated that one of her minor children might face criminal charges in connection with the death investigation. The filing specifically notes that the FBI is conducting a probe “arising out of the sudden death of 18 year old Anna Kepner,” and that any testimony from Hudson could be prejudicial to her or her child. As of now, the FBI has declined to comment. Meanwhile, Carnival Cruise Line says its focus remains on supporting the family and cooperating with authorities.
