“He has not been told who or what poses a threat to him,” the documents state. “And no one has explained why confining him to his cell 23 hours per day is necessary to address it… Staff explained that Mr. Williams is limited to two hours of visitation per month in total, and that his girlfriend had already used an hour of that monthly allotment approximately two weeks earlier, on or about August 13, 2026.”
In addition, Pooh’s aunt reportedly added that the artist has declined mentally. She declared that she’s seen:
“Lontrell decline mentally and emotionally since he was moved to the jail in Haskell,” she wrote. “He is worn down, extremely anxious, and seems severely depressed from being locked in a small room for most of the day, every day, with only two hours per month to see a family member in person.”
His attorneys want the court to make sure Pooh gets his guaranteed minimum visitations before his trial. In addition, they want his solitary confinement ended.
Kent Schaffer, one of Pooh’s lawyers, told Complex why the motion was filed.
“We filed a motion seeking humane treatment for Lontrell while he is incarcerated,” he wrote. “Although he has not been convicted or involved in any type of violent acts in jail, he is locked down 23 hours per day and only allowed two hours of visitation per month. He has little to no human conduct and that can wear anyone down physically, mentally, and emotionally. Pre-trial incarceration is not supposed to be punitive so we are trying to get the court to step in and put an end to it.”
Fans Show Little Empathy For Pooh
Fans were less than empathetic with reactions on TSR’s Instagram page.
User @theofficialtwingirljourney added, “He should be under the jail , yall ain’t hear the lyrics ???? 😂.”
However, a few expressed concern for Pooh. @siriusissues wrote, “Being locked in a cell 23 hours a day can take a serious toll on anyone’s mental health. 💯 He’s facing serious charges, but he hasn’t been convicted in this case. If his attorneys’ allegations are true, the restrictions deserve scrutiny. Jail is supposed to ensure you appear in court, not punish you before you’ve had your trial. ⚖️.”
@dr.deneice added, “Being caged 23 hours a day is psychological torture.”
Pooh Shiesty Jailed For Allegedly Kidnapping Gucci Mane
As reported by The Shade Room, the artist is locked up for the alleged kidnapping and robbery of Gucci Mane, which allegedly occurred on January 10, 2026. Pooh Shiesty’s trial is expected to begin in February 2027.
