According to localmemphis.com, on June 11, Pooh Shiesty reportedly filed a motion requesting that the court review his detention. And release him “under a set of proposed conditions.” More recently, on June 22, prosecutors reportedly filed a 25-page response, requesting the court to deny Shiesty’s motion. Specifically, prosecutors argued that “no combination of release conditions would reasonably ensure the safety of witnesses or the community” from Shiesty.
Per the outlet, prosecutors cited video footage, text messages, and a victim impact statement. Additionally, they also reportedly cited “records of Shiesty’s alleged prior violations of his bond conditions.” Specifically, per XXL, screenshots of the video footage have surfaced. These, showing Gucci Mane held at gunpoint alongside Pooh Shiesty and others. Additionally, another screenshot allegedly shows Pooh’s dad holding the music contract Gucci was allegedly forced to sign.
Lastly, XXL also noted the victim impact statement. The outlet reports it was written by the security guard. The guard reportedly accompanied Gucci Mane at the recording studio where he met Pooh and others on January 10, 2026.
“I respectfully ask that Mr. Williams remain remanded with no bond due to the safety concerns for myself and my family. Mr. Williams was aware that I am a vested retired police officer. And that knowledge did not stop him from committing these actions. Because of this, I am deeply concerned about what he may attempt to do if he is released,” the statement reportedly reads. “Since the incident, I have found myself constantly watching vehicles passing by my home, worried that he or someone connected to him may attempt to harm me or my family. I have young children, and because of this fear, I have limited their ability to go outside and enjoy normal activities as they should.”

More On The Moment Pooh Shiesty & Others Allegedly Robbed Gucci Mane At Gunpoint & Reported Details Of His Recording Contract
As The Shade Room previously reported, in April, it was revealed that Pooh Shiesty, his father, Lontrell Williams Sr., and others were taken into custody, accused of kidnapping and robbing Gucci Mane and two others at gunpoint. The incident reportedly went down on January 10, 2026, at a music studio in Dallas, Texas.

In May, Pooh Shiesty pleaded not guilty to the federal kidnapping and robbery charges, per The Shade Room. Localmemphis.com reports that Pooh’s trial date is scheduled for February 17, 2027.
Meanwhile, Complex has published a report asserting the alleged details of the contract Pooh allegedly forced Gucci Mane to sign at gunpoint. Per the outlet, the contract asserted that Pooh “be allowed to terminate his record deal immediately with 1017 Records.” Additionally, he be “released from all obligations under his deal and he be given ownership of his masters and intellectual property.”
Furthermore, Pooh allegedly wanted “to transfer 1017’s approval rights with Atlantic Records” to himself so that he could “negotiate with any label to secure another deal.”
Prosecutors believe the contract was printed hours before the alleged kidnapping and robbery.
